USA Football is a non-profit organization leading the development and growth of youth, high school and international amateur football. In its role as the national governing body, USA Football provides programs and resources to inspire participation and improve the quality of the sport. USA Football was endowed by the NFL and NFL Players Association in 2002.
Part of USA Football’s mission is to provide programs and resources in order to inspire participation and improve the quality of the sport.
The Play Football campaign is USA Football’s marquee promotional event which runs from June through September each year and encompasses a youth football registration drive, safety awareness education and kick off celebrations in conjunction with NFL teams.
USA Football’s Youth Coaching School, in partnership with NFL teams, is designed to prepare youth football coaches with the ability to teach the game of football and create a positive experience for their players, parents and assistant coaches.
The USA Football Officiating Program’s core objective is to address the shortage of football officials and provide educational resources for new and current officials. Our goal is to help recruit, train and develop football officials at all levels.
