The fondest memory that I have of football is the way that I grew up as a kid playing football from sun up to sun down. I remember the first time my father taught me how to go out for a pass and he told me as soon as I finish my route the ball will be there. Well as soon as I completed my route the ball was there and hit me right in the nose. I also remember my first touchdown too. My best friend played middle linebacker for the other team. I went out for a screen pass and he had fallen, I caught the ball and ran for a touchdown.
Playing football growing up taught me to strive to always win and the importance of teamwork. I have been in the U.S. Army for 12 years now and have always worked as a team. The reasons why I think football is America's favorite sport are the competitiveness and the history. Our country was brought up around football.
Dallas Cowboys football has always brought my family together. Every Sunday that we get a chance, we watch the game. If we are not watching it together we call each other to talk about the game. Dallas Cowboys football has been a part of my life since I was born and will always be. GO BOYS!!!
